What is an NFT in terms of The Chosen Collection?
An NFT, or a Non-Fungible Token, refers to the fact that these tokens, represent singular, unique, one-of-a-kind artistic digital assets. Each asset is a “blockchain based” token representing one of the one hundred and eighty distinctive pieces of art found within The Chosen Collection's, "The Chosen 180."
The Chosen Collection’s NFTs can also be thought of as including irrevocable/binding digital certificates of ownership and authenticity for each of the 180 artworks found in The Chosen 180's collection of NFT artworks.
NFTs are also considered “transparent” in that each contain specific, adjoining “metadata” that verifies authenticity, ownership history and other information about a specific NFT.
NFTs can also have a “transfer of ownership” which is then “recorded and transferred on the blockchain” allowing NFTs to be sold much like other collectable are.
What is an NFT- PFP?
The abbreviation "NFT-PFP" refers to the popular use of NFTs as an individual's ProFile Picture on social media websites such as Instagram or X/Twitter. (ProFile Picture + Non-Fungible Token.) An individual's PFP is often indicative of one's support or connection with the image displayed as one's personal PFP.
What is The Medallion of Courage?
The Medallion of Courage is a medallion created to reference medallions, medals or badges that may have been worn while in battle by The Chosen warriors fighting for their nation throughout history.
What is The Battle of Courage?
Much like The Medallion of Courage, The Battle of Courage is borrowed from the numerous historical battles that The Chosen faced since their inception as the original followers of Abraham's monotheistic, spiritual and faithful acceptance.
What "intellectual property rights" does a current owner of one of the NFTs have?
The Chosen Collection provides each current owner of an NFT from our collection, specific
"strict limited use rights" privileges.
As long as you are the CURRENT owner of one of the 180 NFTs in The Chosen 180 collection currently for sale, you may use the image as a Profile Picture (PFP) in social media platforms such as:
1. X/Twitter
2. Instagram
3. Facebook
4. YouTube
Because the current owner is granted "strict limited use rights" the owner MAY NOT put their NFT image on any product for sale, distribution, advertising or otherwise.
Importantly, if the time comes when they wish to sell their NFT, they immediately forgo ANY of the "strict limited use rights."
No other rights are granted to anyone else outside of a single, current owner.
Is there any significance for using the number 18 (or a multiple of the number) in The Chosen 180?
Yes. The number 18 holds significant spiritual and cultural meaning for The Chosen people, primarily due to its connection with the Hebrew word “chai” (חַי), which means “life.”
The association with “chai” makes the number 18 a blessing for life and good fortune and is often used to express warm wishes for health, longevity and overall well-being.
In Kabbalah, a type of spiritual mysticism, numbers often carry profound spiritual meanings. The number 18, therefore, can be seen as a reminder of the divine presence in the everyday flow of life, urging individuals to seek a deeper connection with a divine presence and themselves, all centered around the affirmation and sanctity of life.
What is the difference between "The Chosen Collection" and "The Chosen 180?"
The Chosen 180 represents the first 180 NFTs created and then minted on the blockchain of The Chosen Collection.
